Ryan Fraser was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in last year’s summer transfer window but the gunners were however working on a deal to bring Lille’s Nicolas Pepe to the Emirates Stadium. Ryan Fraser could however finally join Arsenal in this upcoming transfer window according to reports.

It is inevitable that Arsenal will not enough funds in the summer transfer window since their chances of getting a UEFA Champions League spot are still very low despite being eight points behind fourth placed Chelsea and them quickly getting knocked out of the UEFA Europa League means that they’ll only qualify for it via a top four or five finish depending on Manchester City’s UEFA case. The COVID-19 will also have affected the financial stability of the club.

Team Talk is currently reporting that Arsenal will indeed try to sign Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser on a free deal since his current contract with the Cherries will expire at the end of the season, and with them likely to get relegated, he won’t be renewing his deal with them. Fraser was wonderful in the league last season as he managed to get 15 assists and scored seven goals but he has however struggled in this campaign as he has only been able to get four assists.

It would be interesting to see how Arsenal fans would react to the club signing Ryan Fraser because the Scottish international is a left winger and the gunners have a number of youngsters that would be deprived of minutes if he comes to the Emirates Stadium, or the club would prefer to have an experienced person in that position in order to give the young players more time to mature.
