Arsene Wenger makes some disappointing statement that will make Arsenal fans sad
Arsene Wenger said goodbye to the Arsenal supporters in May, 2018 and he has since then never returned at the club and the Frenchman has now given some news that night be disappointing for gooners.
Arsene Wenger managed Arsenal from 1996 to 2018 and became a very important figure in the history of the North London club as he is considered to be their best ever coach. The Frenchman is yet to return to the club since he waved goodbye to the Arsenal fans in 2018 and he has however revealed some shocking news asked when he will return.
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger helped the gunners to win three league titles as well as winning seven FA Cups and was very instrumental in the building of the Emirates Stadium but poor performances on the pitch in the previous decade so a rise in dissatisfaction from the fans hence them calling for his departure and he left the club two years ago.
Despite that, most Arsenal fans want to see him return to the club in some capacity but Arsene Wenger has however hint that he won’t be coming to the Emirates Stadium since that’s the decision that he made. Wenger also mentions that he is not thinking of returning to management and claims that he is now fully focused on his FIFA role.
“Would I return to the Emirates Stadium? I always said to myself that I would be leaving Arsenal completely. That’s the decision I made.” Wenger told beIN Sports.
“At the moment, I am dedicating myself to my work at FIFA. Fifa has responsibility for 211 federations and the big problem is being efficient. I’m not saying I’m not missing competition, but I’m trying to be efficient in this area.”
This will come as a big blow to the Arsenal fans that wanted to atleast see him come as a board member or as a director but it looks like he is truly determined to be fully separated from the North Londoners since he spent there 22 years.
