Aubameyang speaks out for the first time since Arsenal’s elimination from Europa League
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has for the first time communicated with the fans since they got eliminated from the UEFA Europa League in the semi finals by Villarreal.

Arsenal was on Thursday eliminated from the UEFA Europa League in the semi finals by Villarreal and this was shocking result to many since the gunners were considered to be the better side when the tie got announced. Arsenal striker Aubameyang has for the first time since their defeat on Thursday communicated with the fans ahead of their upcoming Premier League game.
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was selected in the squad of both matches of the tie against Villarreal and the fans were hoping that he would make the difference in the second leg since he was given a start but the Gabon international was however unable to score hence the North Londoners failing to progress to the UEFA Europa League.
Arsenal’s elimination from the Europa League has massive ramifications on their season as this meant that the North Londoners would have no European football next season and Aubameyang has expressed his regret about this bad reality and also claimed how he misses having the supporters in the stadium since he is a type of player that usually needs them.
“It’s been such a difficult season for fans and we desperately wanted to give you something positive this season – I’m just so sorry we couldn’t do it for you.” said Aubameyang in the Arsenal Programme.
“I think I’m a player who needs these emotions inside the stadium. I need the energy from the fans to help me perform better, so I can’t wait to have some of you back for our last game, and then looking forward to next year – we all hope it can be a much, much better year.”
