Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah had some chances in the starting eleven last season but he was always a back up for Gabriel Jesus and the club has made a decision on his future.

Arsenal Football Club is reportedly ready to listen to offers for Eddie Nketiah, as per a report by The Independent. The young Englishman, who made 30 appearances for the Gunners last season, is not in Mikel Arteta’s plans for next season.

Despite scoring four Premier League goals and providing one assist last season, Nketiah mostly came in as a substitute. It seems like Arteta is looking for a more established striker to lead the line or be a back up for Jesus next season, and Nketiah may not fit the bill.

Nketiah’s potential departure could be part of Arteta’s plan to strengthen his squad and mount a stronger challenge for the Premier League title next season. With Manchester City dominating English football in recent years, Arsenal will need to make some significant changes if they want to compete at the highest level.

It remains to be seen which clubs will be interested in signing Nketiah, but he is still young and has plenty of potential. He could be an attractive option for teams looking for a promising striker who can develop into a top-class player.

However, Arsenal fans may feel disappointed that one of their own academy products is being let go so easily. Nketiah has been with the club since he was nine years old and has risen through the ranks to become a first-team player.

Nevertheless, football is a business, and sometimes tough decisions need to be made. If Arsenal can use any funds generated from Nketiah’s sale to bring in quality players who can help them win trophies, then it may be worth it in the long run.

Overall, it seems like Arsenal are gearing up for another busy transfer window as they look to improve their squad and challenge for the Premier League title next season. Nketiah’s potential departure is just one part of this process, and it will be interesting to see who else Arteta brings in to strengthen his team.
