Report reveals when Kai Havertz will complete Arsenal move as he does medical abroad
Arsenal are very close to completing the signing of Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz and a report has revealed when the gunners will complete the deal as he does his medical.
Kai Havertz, the German attacking midfielder who currently plays for Chelsea, is reportedly on the verge of completing a £65m move to Arsenal. The 22-year-old underwent a medical in Spain over the weekend and the deal could be finalised within the next 24 hours as per The Standard.
Havertz had a mixed season with Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing one assist in the Premier League as they finished 12th on the league table. However, he is widely regarded as one of the most talented young players in Europe and has two years remaining on his Chelsea contract.
Signing Havertz would be a major coup for the Gunners as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season. Havertz is known for his technical ability and versatility on the pitch. He can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger and has been compared to former Germany international Mesut Ozil.
Overall, it looks like it could be an exciting summer for Arsenal fans as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for major honours next season. Signing Havertz would be a major statement of intent from the club and could help them close the gap on Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
