Arsenal fans have received a much-needed boost ahead of the new season as four key players have been spotted in training, indicating that they are on track for a return to action. William Saliba, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Gabriel Martinelli, and Oleksandr Zinchenko have all been pictured in training sessions posted on social media.

The news will come as a relief to Arsenal supporters who were concerned about the fitness of these players after their respective injuries. Saliba, who suffered a back issue during Arsenal’s Europa League exit against Sporting CP in March, had to be substituted due to the discomfort. However, his presence in training suggests that he is making good progress and should be ready for the start of the new season.

Similarly, Tomiyasu sustained a significant injury to his right knee in March, which raised doubts about his availability for pre-season matches. But seeing him back on the training pitch is an encouraging sign that he is recovering well and could feature in Arsenal’s upcoming fixtures.

Another player who has been plagued by injury concerns is Gabriel Martinelli. The young forward suffered ankle ligament damage towards the end of last season, which ruled him out for several weeks. However, his presence in training indicates that he has made significant strides in his recovery and could be back on the pitch sooner than expected.

Lastly, Oleksandr Zinchenko missed the remainder of last season due to a calf injury. The Ukrainian left back’s absence was felt by Arsenal as they struggled without his creativity and energy in attack. But with Zinchenko now back in training, it seems likely that he will be available for selection when the new season kicks off.

The return of these four players will undoubtedly provide a boost to Arsenal’s squad depth and options for manager Mikel Arteta. With their injuries behind them, Saliba, Tomiyasu, Martinelli, and Zinchenko can now focus on regaining their match fitness and pushing for a place in the starting lineup.

As Arsenal prepares for their pre-season matches, the sight of these players back in training will give fans hope that the team can start the new season on a positive note. The club will be eager to put last season’s disappointments behind them and challenge for silverware once again.

While it remains to be seen how quickly these players can regain their form and fitness, their presence in training is a promising sign. Arsenal fans can now look forward to seeing Saliba, Tomiyasu, Martinelli, and Zinchenko back on the pitch, ready to make an impact for their beloved club.
