Ben White reveals the toughest opponent that gives him the most nightmares
Arsenal defender Ben White was one of the best players of the gunners last season and he has now also revealed the player that was the toughest that he faced.

Arsenal’s, Ben White, has recently revealed that his toughest opponent to date is none other than former Crystal Palace’s dynamic winger, Wilfried Zaha. The 25-year-old defender, who can play both as a right back and a center back, expressed his admiration for Zaha’s skills and admitted that he relishes the challenge of facing such talented players.
In an interview with ESPN UK, White spoke about the excitement he feels when going up against top-class wingers like Zaha. He said, “Being a full-back, you come up against a winger, always like when I’m playing against Zaha, I’m like, ‘I want it’ – so good, I want to test myself against someone like that.”
Zaha was widely regarded as one of the most skillful and unpredictable wingers in the Premier League. His lightning-fast pace combined with his dribbling ability makes him a nightmare for defenders. White’s acknowledgment of Zaha’s talent highlights the respect he has for his opponents and his desire to constantly improve himself.

The English defender joined Arsenal some time backfrom Brighton & Hove Albion in a deal worth around £50 million ($69 million). He was impressive in the Premier League last season in the right back position.
White’s versatility and composure on the ball have made him an ideal addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad. Despite primarily being a center back by trade, he has shown great adaptability by excelling as a right back as well. This flexibility has undoubtedly been an asset to Arsenal throughout the season.
Having faced Zaha multiple times during his career in matches between Brighton and Crystal Palace, White understands the challenges that come with marking such an explosive player. He knows that every encounter with Zaha pushes him to his limits and forces him to raise his game.
White’s determination to test himself against the best is a testament to his ambition and hunger for success. His desire to face players like Zaha head-on demonstrates his confidence in his abilities and his willingness to continuously improve.
In conclusion, Ben White’s revelation about Wilfried Zaha being his toughest opponent showcases his admiration for the former Crystal Palace winger’s skills who has recently joined Galatasaray. White’s desire to test himself against top-class players like Zaha reflects his ambition and determination to constantly improve.
