As the summer transfer window draws to a close, football clubs around the world are making their final moves to secure new signings and offload surplus players. One such player who is set to make a move is young Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares.

Renowned football transfer news guru Fabrizio Romano recently confirmed the imminent departure of the 23-year-old Portuguese left-back. Romano took to Twitter to announce that Nottingham Forest is close to reaching an agreement with Arsenal for Tavares. Talks between the two clubs have progressed well, and a loan deal is being discussed. The deal could be completed within the next 24 hours and will include an option for Nottingham Forest to buy Tavares at the end of the loan spell.

Tavares joined Arsenal some time back from Benfica and showed glimpses of his potential during his debut season in England. However, Tavares has found himself further down the pecking order. A loan move to Nottingham Forest will provide him with regular playing time and an opportunity to continue his development.

Nottingham Forest, a club competing in the Premier League, will benefit from Tavares’ arrival. The youngster possesses pace, energy, and attacking prowess, making him a valuable asset in both defense and attack. His ability to overlap and deliver dangerous crosses into the box will undoubtedly strengthen Forest’s attacking options.

With the transfer window closing in the next couple of days, it remains to be seen whether any other clubs will make a late move for Tavares. However, if all goes according to plan, Nottingham Forest could secure the services of the promising left-back, giving him a chance to prove his worth and potentially earn a permanent move in the future.
