Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that he does not expect the club to make any further signings before tonight’s transfer deadline. The Gunners have already been active in the 2023 summer transfer window, securing the services of four players.

I don’t expect anybody to come in.” Arteta told the media today.

One of the notable signings for Arsenal is 24-year-old midfielder Kai Havertz, who joined from Chelsea for a reported fee of £65 million. Havertz is considered one of the most promising talents in European football and his arrival has been met with excitement among Arsenal fans.

In addition to Havertz, Arsenal have also bolstered their defensive options with the signing of 22-year-old defender Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The deal for Timber is said to be worth €40 million, with an additional €5 million in add-ons. Timber’s arrival will provide Arteta with more depth and competition in the backline.

Another significant signing for Arsenal is 24-year-old midfielder Declan Rice, who arrived from West Ham United for a staggering fee of £105 million. Rice is highly regarded for his defensive abilities and versatility, and his addition to the squad will undoubtedly strengthen Arsenal’s midfield options.

Furthermore, Arsenal have secured the services of 27-year-old goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford on a loan deal with an option to buy. Raya’s arrival will provide competition for Bernd Leno and add depth to Arsenal’s goalkeeping department.

With these four signings already completed, Arteta has expressed satisfaction with his squad and does not anticipate any further additions before the transfer deadline tonight. This suggests that he believes he has assembled a strong team capable of competing at the highest level.

As the transfer window draws to a close, Arsenal fans can take solace in knowing that their club has made significant investments in strengthening their squad. The new signings bring youth, talent, and depth to various positions on the field, giving Arteta more options as he looks to guide Arsenal back to the top of English football.
