Fabregas reveals what Arsenal needs to do to win the Premier League next season
Former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas has revealed what the gunners will need to do to win the Premier League title next season.

Former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas believes the Gunners need to add depth and a prolific striker if they are to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
“I think it’s funny because the other day you are watching both games at the same time and when you think about it you say, “Wow, Man City really have like two teams basically that could win the Premier League”,” Fabregas observed, highlighting the strength in depth at Manchester City.
“Arsenal don’t in this regard, so for me it’s a bit of everything,” he continued. “Yes, they do need a bit of depth to keep pushing, pushing, pushing during the season and not rely always on Saka or Rice or Partey if he’s injured or not or on Saliba.”
Fabregas also highlighted the need for a prolific goalscorer, suggesting a lack of consistency in that department hampered Arsenal’s title push. “But also, in my opinion – and he’s done really, really well but obviously it’s not his main position – Havertz, he’s had a fantastic season, but if Arsenal can manage to get a top, top striker that can guarantee you 30 goals a season, then they will be much, much, much closer to getting the title.”
Fabregas’ analysis suggests Arsenal need to address their squad depth and add a world-class striker to truly challenge for the Premier League crown. While their impressive 2023/24 season demonstrates their potential, further investment is needed to close the gap with Manchester City.
