Arsenal faced West Brom Albion last night and successfully beat them 2 nil thanks to goals from their new mega money signing Alexandre Lacazette who scored a brace making it 4 goals scored by him this season and he is now the gunners top scorer of the season so far. Arsene Wenger badly needed these three points because the supporters had already started losing hope in the squad as they had only won 2 of their first five matches but they made it three out of a maximum of 6 goals as they eased off Tony Pulis’ men at the Emirates stadium and the gunners have benefited so much from this match as they have moved from the bottom table 12th to the 7th place and are now only 6 points away from the league leaders.

The gunners began the match under too much pressure but finally started to settle things out as they now started to make attacks towards the goal of West Brom Albion until they finally got that free kick which helped them get a breakthrough after Alexandre Lacazette finished off Alexis Sanchez,’s free kick shot which had failed to find the net. Yesterday’s match was very match appealing and entertaining as the one of last week when Arsenal took on Chelsea last weekend and drew but the Arsenal supporters appreciated and enjoyed the match because they showed fighting spirit and determination to collect all the three points and it was the same case yesterday as the gunners dominated the match leaving West Brom Albion with no chance of beating them.

The Arsenal supporters were a bit disappointed with Arsene Wenger when the lineup for yesterday’s match was announced and were angry because Mesut Ozil wasnt included in the starting lineup but the French manager proved critics wrong as the squad showed that it has the ability to lead Arsenal to their first English Premier League ever since the era of the invincibles in 2004 where the gunners finished the season un beaten. Yesterday’s win could be a landmark or motivation for the gunners to amount on a title challenge this season even though most football analysts have already ruled Arsenal out of the possible teams that have shown that are capable of lifting the English Premier League next year in May.

The gunners will be playing again this Thursday in the Europa League when they take on BATE Borisov as they hope to get the three points and keep up their good start to the Europa League so that they hope that they can get a fair round of 16 but most gunners are disappointed with the poor scheduling done by EPL because the gunners have played a match on Monday and then play on Thursday later play at the weekend which maybe exhausting to the Arsenal squad. The gunners have maintained their record against West Brom Albion making it 71 wins in 139 matches.
