Petr Cech Fires Warning To Arsenal’s Goalkeeper Bernd Leno
Petr Cech has warned Arsenal’s new goalkeeper Bernd Leno on the physicality in the English Premier League and says that it’s different than other European leagues.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has been at the Emirates Stadium for three years now after his arrival from Chelsea but the Czech Republican international will now face strong competition from Bernd Leno who was signed by gunners new boss Unai Emery.
Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery hasn’t spoken about who will be his first choice goalkeeper next season but reports say that he will likely choose the goalkeeper which he signed himself and snub Petr Cech who he has found at the North London club.
Petr Cech has already confirmed that he won’t be leaving Arsenal this summer and said that he will be ready to fight for his position at the club this season and he has also given a warning to Bernd Leno about the physicality in the English Premier League.
“You have to play your game and you have to find your way through.”
“There are so many things that a goalkeeper coming to the Premier League has not experienced in a different league.” Petr Cech told reporters.
“Obviously you have the physicality and the way the game is played in the Premier League.”
Petr Cech also added that the Premier League is very different because the goalkeeper is not protected enough by the defenders as in other European leagues which makes the English league a bit tougher.
The Czech Republican international didn’t mention the name Bernd Leno in his statement but what he said clearly shows that he was sending an indirect message to his new teammate who might take his position at Arsenal this season.
Bernd Leno also recently said that he has big respect for Petr Cech but confirmed that he was going to work harder to impress Unai Emery so that he can become his first choice goalkeeper in the 2018/19 season.
