Sevilla Now Ready To Sell Steven N’Zonzi To Arsenal
Sevilla has given up on trying to stop Steven N’Zonzi from leaving the club and will let him join Arsenal if they pay the release clause of the French international.
Arsenal has been linked with Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi since the transfer window opened and the North Londoners seem to still be interested in him even though they have already signed Lucas Torreira.
Reports yesterday claimed that Arsenal’s move for the Sevilla midfielder was on hold when the gunners said that they will not be able to pay the release clause of €40million to get the Frenchman but reports say that the North Londoners are still in negotiations with Steven N’Zonzi’s club.
Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claims that Sevilla is now ready to let go of Steven N’Zonzi this summer but on the condition that the gunners meet the player’s release clause of €40million, this report comes a few weeks after it was reported that the Frenchman had told Sevilla that he wants to leave the club.
It is reported that Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery wants to use the 4-4-2 formation next season so he wants to have two strong central midfielders before the start of the upcoming season so the gunners will be hoping to sign Steven N’Zonzi so that he could bring stability to the Arsenal midfield.
