Arsenal manager Unai Emery has three strikers at his disposal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Danny Welbeck and we have all seen how the Spanish coach has used all these three in different matches, and competitions.

Danny Welbeck has been at the Emirates Stadium for a long time than the other two who are currently above him on the pecking order at the North London club, because he has over the years failed to become a regular starter. It is now reported by the Sun that Crystal Palace are ready to make a move for Danny Welbeck in the January transfer window and that they are willing to pay £10million for the Arsenal striker.

Danny Welbeck’s previous seasons have been horrific because of constant injuries but this campaign seems different but exciting for him because he has even scored five goals for the gunners despite being a back up for both Lacazette and Aubameyang. The gunners signed him for £16million from Manchester United in 2014 and if they were to agree to the offer by the Eagles, they will have made a big loss considering that the amount they paid for him four years ago could be equivalent to £30million in this current football transfer market.

Danny Welbeck is in the final year of his at current deal at the Emirates Stadium and this will be a perfect chance to get something out of him before he leaves for free next year. Unai Emery hasn’t confirmed whether the club will offer him a new deal because he always says that he doesn’t care about that because he only thinks of the present, not the future.

Everyone expected Danny Welbeck to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window but he however still remained and this shows how he still believes that he can do something for the gunners under their new boss Unai Emery.
