Arsenal's boss Unai Emery was expected to finally help the gunners get a win against Manchester United at the Old Trafford in the Premier League since 2007 but he also failed.
Arsenal came into the Manchester United game with confidence after they had successfully got a win in the North London Derby but it seems the curse of failing to get a Premier League win at the Old Trafford still lives on. But the truth is that Unai Emery failed to win because of the following two reasons.
MANCHESTER UNITED PLAYED A ROUGH GAME TO STOP ARSENAL’S PACE
The gunners are known to have a playing style which sees them pass the ball in blistering speed until they reach the box of their opponents. But Jose Mourinho knew that his side wouldn’t be able to match up to their pace so he instructed his team to play a rough game so that they can injure most of star players of the gunners, and it actually worked in their favour because we saw the gunners struggling in the midfield because the Red devils were playing a rough game.
UNAI EMERY WAS FORCED TO MAKE UNNECESSARY SUBSTITUTIONS
If you are an Arsenal fan then you do know that you can’t deny the fact that the gunners have become second half FC because Unai Emery who is a master tactician makes changes which over turn the game in the last 45 minutes. But unfortunately for Unai Emery, injuries of Rob Holding and Aaron Ramsey forced him to make substitutions which he didn’t like.
Unai Emery will however be hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they face Huddersfield Town at the Emirates Stadium.
