Report: Unai Emery likely to add 3 non starters in lineup that faces Spurs

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that he will use a strong squad against Tottenham Hotspur so here are three players which will be introduced to the starting eleven.

Arsenal was on an unbeaten run of 22 games until they met Southampton which exposed their defence by getting all the three points thanks to three headers from Ings (2) and Austin. When a team loses a match then a manager tries to find the problem so that he can fix it in the next game.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said that he will field his best squad today against Tottenham Hotspur who are currently on form, so let’s take a look at the three players which will be added to the starting eleven that plays in the North London Derby.

1. ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE

The French striker started on the bench on Sunday when the gunners faced Southampton and even though he didn’t make much impact in their loss on Sunday but he did put on a great performance against Spurs a few weeks back. Unai Emery will want to go full force against Tottenham Hotspur so the Frenchman will start along Aubameyang.

2. PETR CECH

Although other changes might be made because of previous performances but starting Petr Cech against Spurs will be because Unai Emery wants to be fair to the Czech Republican international. And we all can’t deny that Petr Cech is an outstanding goalkeeper but just that he has been a bit rusty this season.

He will be in-goal and Unai Emery will be hoping that he shows why he should be the first choice goalkeeper.

3. MESUT OZIL

Mesut Ozil has missed a number of matches because of back spasms but he has finally returned and he took part in Arsenal’s win against Qarabag last week, and also played a few minutes in the Southampton match. Mesut Ozil will need to prove critics wrong who have said that the gunners are better without him.

Unai Emery will probably revert to the 4-2-3-1 formation so that Mesut Ozil can feel comfortable because that’s the formation which he impresses in.

The other obvious Arsenal players that will be included in the starting eleven that faces Spurs are Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
