Mesut Ozil has stayed at Arsenal for five years now and he recently signed a new long-term deal to extend his stay at the Emirates Stadium but it seems he could be leaving this month as reports now claim that Unai Emery has offered him to Inter Milan and Juventus.

The German international has sometimes this season been left out of the Arsenal squad because gunners new boss Unai Emery wants players that will work their socks off the pitch while Mesut Ozil is however considered to be lazy because of his poor work rate.

It has been quite clear that Unai Emery has lost faith in Mesut Ozil because he simply says that the German international was not picked for “tactical reasons” when asked why the 30-year-old isn’t in the match day squad. It’s now reported by the Mirror and TuttoMercatoWeb that Arsenal’s boss Unai Emery has offered Mesut Ozil to Inter Milan and Juventus with the hope that they can sign him so that he can reduce on the current wage bill.

Mesut Ozil is rumoured to be earning at least £300,000-a-week wages and this absurd amount has crippled the club from making any permanent signings in the January transfer window since the North London club receives 0% investment from their owner. So the club sustains itself.

It is uncertain whether Inter Milan and Juventus would be interested in signing Mesut Ozil because he is currently earning a lot of money yet he hasn’t been consistent in the last two years. It will however be surprising if Mesut Ozil leaves Arsenal because he’s one of the fan favourites at the club and sells alot of shirts which brings in revenue to the club.
