OFFICIAL: Alex Runnarson unveiled as an Arsenal player
Arsenal have announced their fourth new signing and its goalkeeper Alex Runnarson who joins from Dijon.

Arsenal have confirmed via their website the signing of Runar Alex Runnarson from French club Dijon.
The Icelandic goalkeeper has cost Arsenal a fee of €2m and will replace Emiliano Martinez who departed, he is expected to deputise Bernd Leno.
Runnarson 25 has joined on a four year contract and will wear shirt number 13 which was previously worn by David Ospina.
Technical director (Edu) on Runnarson: “We’re very pleased to welcome Alex to our squad. We have been monitoring him for some time and from the analysis, he has strong attributes that we look for in a goalkeeper and as a person.”
Manager Mikel Arteta’s take: “We want to create healthy competition for places and we look forward to seeing Alex bring further depth to the goalkeeping position.”
Alex Runnarson was recommended by goalkeeper coach Inaki Cana whom he previously worked with.
Runnarson could make his debut in the Carabao cup or in the Europa League.
