Transfer Updates regarding Partey, Guendouzi and more
Arsenal are rushing against the clock to seal last minute transfers as the deadline approaches.
Arsenal have been busy today and are working hard on transfers to beat the 11pm Monday deadline.
Here are the latest updates on signings and exits;
Thomas Partey
According to Charles Watts Arsenal have made a late approach for Atletico Madrid midfielder and long term target Thomas Partey.
Further reports say Arsenal are now willing to pay his £45m release clause once he has completed his medical which is to take place in Spain.
Arsenal have communicated with La Liga and will not need to negotiate with Atletico.
Matteo Guendouzi
Guendouzi is set to join German side Hertha Berlin on a loan deal according to Sky Sports. The loan deal will reportedly fetch Arsenal €4m.
Nikolaj Duus Möller
Arsenal have completed the signing of Swedish striker Nikolaj Möller from Malmo on a 4 year deal for a £430,000 fee according to Transfermarkt. The 18 year old has been dubbed as the next big thing and has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic at his age. He will join Arsenal’s U23 side.
A few more players could be confirmed as exits such as Sokratis, Lucas Torreira who has joined Atletico Madrid on loan as well as Sead Kolasinac who is expected to join Bayer Leverkusen.
