Mikel Arteta speaks out on rumours about him leaving Arsenal to join Barcelona
There has been rumours in the past few weeks that Barcelona are interested in Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and the gunners coach has replied to these reports.

Arsenal appointed Mikel Arteta as their new manager two years ago after the club had sacked Unai Emery after a disastrous start to his second season. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta arrived at the Emirates Stadium with a lot of doubters saying that this might not have been a good decision but he has however proved his worth in the last two years and is now being linked with a move to Barcelona.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta led the gunners to an FA Cup trophy by defeating Chelsea in the final and he has this season shown the world on what he has been building all this time as he now has a very young squad on top of the Premier League table. There has now been reports that Barcelona are interested in the Spanish manager after the growth that he’s had over the last two years and Arteta has also replied to these reports.
“What I can say is that I’m extremely happy and proud to be where I am. Barcelona now are on a really good path.” Mikel Arteta told Arsenal Media.
“I think they have a phenomenal coach who is an absolute legend at the club and has lived the whole place. You have to be very respectful of that.”
