How Arsenal will lineup with second January signing Jakub Kiwior
Arsenal is reported to have completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior from the Serie A side Spezia and so here’s how the gunners will lineup with him.

Arsenal have finally completed the signing of 22-year-old Jakub Kiwior from Spezia Calcio as per various reports, bringing their total number of centre backs to five. With a composition of experienced and talented defenders on the roster, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has plenty of options when it comes to deciding on how to lineup his defence.
HERE IS HOW ARSENAL WILL LINEUP WITH NEW SIGNING
Kiwior is known for his physical presence and aggressive tackling style, which makes him a perfect fit for Arteta’s 4-2-3-1 formation. In this system, he will likely be paired up with William Saliba as the two centre backs in a back four . It is well known how Mikel Arteta wants centre backs that are left footed and since Gabriel Magalhaes is the only who can do that then this shows the importance of the arrival of Jakub Kiwior.
In addition to his defensive presence, Kiwior also possess an excellent passing range which will provide more options for Arsenal’s midfielders going forward. His exemplary distribution from deep could also prove to be invaluable when trying to launch attacking plays from the back as he can find teammates in dangerous areas using lengthy diagonals passes or well-placed through balls. He could even get forward occasionally and join the attack himself if needed.
Finally, having an array of quality center backs allows Arsenal to rotate the players keeping them fresh during busy match schedules. This way Arteta can mix things up depending on who they are facing and give some players rest when needed without compromising the quality or defensive set up too much.
