Arsenal receive good news ahead of their match against Manchester City
Arsenal will on Wednesday welcome Manchester City to their home ground and the gunners have received some good news ahead of this match.

Arsenal may have received some good news ahead of their match against Manchester City, as top forward Erling Haaland is likely to miss the game due to a suspected injury. Haaland was subbed off in his side’s clash against Aston Villa and the exact extent of his injury is still unclear.
Haaland has been relentless in the Premier League this season, scoring 25 goals in 20 appearances. His absence would be a massive blow for City, who are currently second in the table behind Arsenal. The Gunners extended their winless run to three games yesterday with a 1-1 home draw with Brentford, meaning they face going into Wednesday’s highly-anticipated clash with Manchester City with the prospect of losing their place at the top of the Premier League.

The news that Haaland may miss out on Wednesday’s game could be a boost for Arsenal, as they look to get back to winning ways and maintain their position at the top of the table. Without Haaland’s presence up front, it could be easier for Arsenal’s defence to contain City’s attack and keep them from scoring. This could give Arsenal an edge over their rivals and help them secure a much-needed victory.
However, it is important to remember that Manchester City still have plenty of quality players in their squad who can step up and fill Haaland’s shoes if he is indeed ruled out for Wednesday’s game. The likes of Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne are all capable of causing problems for Arsenal if given the opportunity. Therefore, while Haaland’s potential absence may give Arsenal some hope ahead of Wednesday’s match, they will still need to be at their best if they are to come away with all three points.
