Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has opened up about what he expects from Chelsea in their upcoming match on Tuesday night at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal will be looking to come back to winning ways after Manchester City demolished them 4-1 on Wednesday last week, complicating their title charge.

Arsenal are currently second on the Premier League table with 75 points after 33 games but are closely following first placed Manchester City which has 76 points plus two games in hand. With only a few games left in the season, every point counts for Arsenal and they will be looking to secure a win against Chelsea.

Arteta is aware of the challenge that Chelsea poses and is not taking them lightly. “That they are going to try to come to the Emirates to beat us. They have a great manager and exceptional players, so it is very difficult to predict what they will do because they can play in various ways with different players and different qualities as well. We are going to prepare for the game to win it, that’s it,” Arteta told Arsenal Player.

Chelsea have had an inconsistent season so far Zero they currently find themselves in the 12th position position on the Premier League table.

Arteta will be hoping that his team can bounce back from their defeat against Manchester City and put in a strong performance against Chelsea. Arsenal have been in bad form recently, failing to get a win in their last four matches.

The Gunners will be relying on their attacking trio of Gabriel Martinelliz Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka to deliver the goods once again. The trio has been in fine form recently, scoring crucial goals for Arsenal.

Defensively, Arteta will be hoping that his team can tighten up after conceding four goals against Manchester City. The likes of Gabriel Magalhaes and Rob Holding will need to be at their best to keep Chelsea’s attack at bay.

Overall, it promises to be an exciting match between two top teams in the Premier League. Arsenal will be hoping to secure a win and keep their title charge alive, while Chelsea will be looking to cement their place in the top four.
