Kiwior, who joined Arsenal from Italian side Spezia for a hefty fee of £21m during the January transfer window last season, has already made 10 appearances for the Gunners, including two this season. Describing his experience with Arteta’s pre-match meetings, Kiwior said, “It’s very different to what I was used to… Coming here, it’s the first time I’ve seen this final meeting before going out on the pitch look like it does here. It’s certainly something new.”
The young centre back went on to express his surprise at Arteta’s ability to come up with innovative concepts that shape the players’ attitude towards the game. He stated, “I was quite surprised that something like this was even possible, that a coach could come up with these concepts to shape our attitude to the game through all sorts of competitions and challenges to focus our minds.”
