Arsenal have been without their top midfielder Santi Cazorla due to a knee injury he sustained a few years ago which has been disturbing him for the whole of the 2017/18 season hence not kicking a goal in this campaign.

The Spanish international is one of the favourites at the Emirates Stadium after winning the hearts of the Arsenal supporters thanks to his amazing ball controlling type of play which makes him one of the best creative players in the Premier League.

Arsene Wenger is having a press conference right now and the manager was asked about the current status of the injury of Santi Cazorla, here’s what he said;

“I haven’t seen Santi since the League Cup Final, he is in Spain having rehabilitation.’ said Wenger.

“The last news I heard is that he is doing well. I hope he will be back before the end of the season and we will check. ”

The manager continued and praised the Spain international saying that he wants him to stay at the Emirates but believes that Cazorla won’t be able to go to the World Cup before he sorts himself.

The Arsenal supporters will be happy that the manager still cares for the injured midfielder because they have been rumours by tabloids that the gunners were considering terminating the current contract of Santi Cazorla.
