Arsenal Agree £16 Million Deal With Dortmund For Sokratis Papastathopoulos
Unai Emery has made the defense his main key area which needs improvement in this summer transfer window and he wants to bring Sokratis Papastathopoulos to the Emirates Stadium to strengthen his squad.

The gunners have already made their first summer signing after getting Stephan Lichtsteiner but the gunners aren’t done strengthening their defense as they are finalising the deal of Sokratis Papastathopoulos to Arsenal.
It is believed that Arsenal has agreed a £16 million deal with Borussia Dortmund to sign the defender in this summer and that the English club would like to offer Sokratis a three-year contract which could see him leave the Emirates Stadium in 2021 if he signs for the gunners.
The gunners have been linked with Sokratis Papastathopoulos for about a month now but no official announcement has been made but it’s understood by us that a deal will certainly go through because Arsenal’s new manager Unai Emery wants to strengthen his squad defence before he can focus on other positions at the club.
The 29-year-old defender will improve the Arsenal defense if he comes at the Emirates Stadium because he has great experience which is highly needed at the London club since its main defender, Laurent Koscielny sustained a long-term injury which keeps him from kicking a ball until December yet the 2018/19 season kicks off in August.
It is however not yet understood whether the gunners have agreed personal terms with Sokratis Papastathopoulos but everyone his confident that the Arsenal team will complete the deal in the coming days or weeks.
