Jack Wilshere finally put to an end to the transfer speculations that have been on his head over the last few weeks after he confirmed his departure from Arsenal because he was afraid that he was not to get enough playing time at the Emirates Stadium if he stayed at the club.

Jack Wilshere released a long statement which he explained why he was quitting the North London club even though it had offered him a new deal with it waiting for the signature of the English international. Wilshere’s statement was quite clear that the player was heartbroken about his departure from the Emirates Stadium.

“Following my meeting with the new manager I was made aware that although the reduced contract offer remained, it was made clear to me that my playing time would be significantly reduced should I decide to stay.” said Wilshere in the statement he released yesterday.

Wilshere’s news of his departure from Arsenal made impact on everyone who is related to the gunners including Ian Wright who also immediately took to Twitter to show his disappointment because he knows that deep down, Wilshere is hurt.

The Arsenal legend wrote;

“Disappointed to hear the news, I know exactly what Jack is going through and it is heartbreaking knowing that you have to leave Arsenal Football Club.”

“I wish you all the best in the future and hope you find the happiness again in playing game you love.”

Arsenal fans are also feeling that it must have been a tough decision for Wilshere because he is now old and this is the time for him to excel in his footballing career so it was going to be tough for him at Unai Emery’s bench next season.

I am a very stubborn person who is always very argumentative in football discussions but I always win. I like writing about transfer news most.
