Unai Emery clears the air on Mesut Ozil’s situation at Arsenal
Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been linked away from the Emirates Stadium in the last few days but Unai Emery has finally cleared the air.

Mesut Ozil has been the talk of the day in the last few days because Unai Emery surprised everyone when he left him out of the squad that faced Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday. There has already been many transfer rumours which claim that the German international could be loaned or sold in the January transfer window.
It is said that Unai Emery does not like Mesut Ozil because of his poor work rate and the fact that the new Arsenal boss wants his players to press the opponents until they lose the ball but we all know that it’s a bit hard for the German international since he is a soft player.
The gunners will tomorrow face Burnley and Unai Emery had his pre-match press conference today, and Mesut Ozil’s situation was among the hot topics which he was asked. One of the reporters asked him if Mesut Ozil has a future at Arsenal and he replied with a simple; “Yes”
He also replied this when asked whether he likes Mesut Ozil since most reports say that he hates the midfielder;
“I want every player with a good mentality to help us and give us their characteristics and quality. We need Mesut Ozil.” Unai Emery told Arsenal Player.
Arsenal head coach Unai Emery also said that he has talked with him as he always does with the rest of the squad and also confirmed that Mesut Ozil will either be in the starting eleven or bench on Saturday when the gunners welcome Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.
