The Premier League and all European leagues will be going on a one month break since the World Cup this year will take place in November and December. Arsenal and all Premier League clubs have been forced to play a lot of games in a short period in the last few weeks but the gunners have been impressive in that period, keeping their 1st spot on the Premier League table.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta appointed Martin Odegaard as the new captain of the gunners and he has been impressive this season with his most recent good performance being the two nil win over Wolverhampton at Molineux Stadium. Martin Odegaard scored a double in this game which further highlighted how he has become a great source of goals in the Arsenal squad.

The Arsenal captain faced the media after this particular game which saw them go five points ahead of Manchester City and Odegaard revealed on what they must do when the Premier League returns after the World Cup.

“We have to come back even stronger and better but at the moment, it’s looking good. It’s a good way to go into the break. We said before the game we wanted to finish strongly and we wanted to bring this good feeling into the break and we have done that.” said Martin Odegaard as per The Metro.

I enjoy football so much and I am in love with Arsenal Football Club. I always watch the matches and will always give you my opinions about the game here.
