Ramsdale reveals the specific Arsenal player that is extraordinary
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale who is a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium has opened up about a player that he believes is extraordinary on the pitch.
Aaron Ramsdale has opened up about his extraordinary Arsenal teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko after the performance of the Ukrainian international in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa. The Gunners were twice behind at Villa Park, but managed to equalise on both occasions through Bukayo Saka and Zinchenko to level the game with 30 minutes to go. The match looked set to end in a draw, but then an Emi Martinez own-goal and one from Gabriel Martinelli handed the Gunners three points at the death.
Ramsdale was full of praise for his teammate Zinchenko, who has only been with Arsenal for a couple of months. He said as per The Metro: “He (Zinchenko) brings a completely different dimension to the team and allows us to play the way we want to. He’s been there and he’s done it. He’s got four out of five Premier Leagues [titles] so he knows what it takes to win.”
The goalkeeper also spoke about how passionate Zinchenko is and how quickly he has become a key part of the team: “He’s been brilliant, you see the passion he’s got. He’s only been here a couple of months but he’s a huge part of our group.”
Ramsdale’s comments are testament to Zinchenko’s quality as a player, and his ability to make an immediate impact on any team he joins. His experience in winning Premier League titles with Manchester City is invaluable, and his passion for football is clear for all to see. It’s no wonder that Ramsdale is so impressed by him, as it looks like Arsenal have found themselves another top-class player in Oleksandr Zinchenko.
