Report: How Arteta will ensure that Arsenal players remain fit during the lock down
The Arsenal players are all stuck at home due to the pandemic but Mikel Arteta has however made some measures to make sure that they remain fit.
The Premier League was suspended indefinitely and so we could spend about two more months without football as the league announced that they would not start again until the government advised them that is safe to proceed. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will make sure that his players remain fit during this pandemic as per the reports.
Arsenal were starting to go on form in the Premier League before it was suspended and since Mikel Arteta has in the last few months been trying to make his players more fit so that they can start playing as his required level. So the suspension of the league and training has now affected this as the players are now forced to stay at their home but Mikel Arteta is however ready to improvise in order to achieve what he wants.
Then Sun reports that Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta will be plugging his players into a GPS network to monitor their training during this pandemic as most clubs will be hoping that most of their players will be able to quickly get into action when the Premier League finally opens. The Arsenal players did use GPS vests during training in normal times but they’ll now be given individual trackers so that they can be monitored as they train in their homes.
The report also added that Arsenal’s head coach Mike Arteta has sent all the players the training manual that they must follow during this epidemic and this information will be evaluated by Mikel Arteta and his fitness team later to see if all the players followed the instructions.
