Revealed: What Arsenal will do if Aubameyang rejects new contract
Aubameyang has entered the final year of his current deal and its now being reported that the gunners have chosen what to do if he player rejects them.
Aubameyang has been Arsenal’s best player in the last two years but the time for him to sign the a new contract has come as the Gabon international is now in the final 12 months. Aubameyang is a remarkable striker that everyone would love to have and they’ve been many clubs linked with a move for him but new reports coming in claim that the North Londoners have made a decision on what to do if the contract situation isn’t resolved.
Aubameyang has been once again impressive in the Premier League as he has scored 17 goals but the gunners however found themselves in a similar contract saga like that of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez which led to some things that the club have presently regretted for a long time and so they will be careful to make the right choice.
The Sun is reporting that Arsenal have decided that they will not sell Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer transfer window even if he refuses to sign the new contract from them. The report also says that Arsenal will let Aubameyang run down his current contract which expires in 2021 since they will not be able to get their desired amount due to the effects that the pandemic has had on all football clubs around the world.
Aubameyang is very active on social media but he has however never come out to debunk or confirm certain transfer reports wrote about him but he however does sometimes contact the fans through hidden message such as what happened yesterday when he supposedly told the Arsenal fans to ignore the many reports that were circulating throughout the day about his future.
Arsenal fans despite wanting Aubameyang to stay at the club, there will be a lot of criticism to the Arsenal board for failing to convince the Gabon international to sign a contract extension and it will be bittersweet for them since the 30 year old could stay for one more year and then not be available for the next since it will have expired.
