Kai Havertz reveals how he is going to make Arsenal fans to love him
Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz has admitted that he has had a slow start to life as a Gunner but is determined to win over the fans and earn their trust. The 24-year-old German international opened up about his experiences since joining Arsenal from rival club Chelsea for a hefty fee of £65 million in the summer.
Havertz acknowledged the difficulty of transitioning from one big club to another, especially when they are fierce rivals. He understands that it may take time for the Arsenal fans to warm up to him, but he is ready to prove himself on the pitch. “It’s always tough when you come from Chelsea because they are big rivals, so it can take weeks to get some trust from the fans,” Havertz stated. “Goals and good games can help me to get it. I’ll always give 100%.”
Despite his slow start, Havertz remains positive and grateful for the opportunity to play for Arsenal. He expressed his happiness and likened the atmosphere at the club to that of a family. “I’m super happy to be at Arsenal, it feels like family,” Havertz shared with the media.
In his 12 appearances for Arsenal this season, Havertz has managed to contribute with one assist and score one penalty goal. While these numbers may not be groundbreaking, they indicate that he is gradually finding his rhythm and making an impact for his new team.
As the season progresses, Havertz is determined to improve his performances and win over the Arsenal faithful. With his talent and dedication, there is no doubt that he has the potential to become a fan favorite at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal fans will be eagerly watching as Havertz strives to fulfill his promise and make them love and trust him.
