Martin Keown Tells Unai Emery The Key Areas To Focus On In Signings
Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes that the new gunners boss Unai Emery should focus on strengthening his defense in this summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is said to be busy with transfers in this summer transfer window as he looks set to sign his first signing as gunners boss. The new manager has put his eyes on about six players yet he has a very tight budget of only £70 million.
Arsenal legend Martin Keown believes that the new manager should put all his efforts in improving the defense for the up coming season because they now have an injury crisis after Laurent Koscielny was ruled out until December after sustaining hectic injury which has made him even miss the World Cup.
“Koscielny is out for six months, Mertesacker has retired, Mustafi has had a difficult season and he also has two young defenders in Rob Holding and Chambers.” the legend told Daily Mail.
“There will have to be a different emphasis with more on defense than attack.”
The Arsenal fans will likely agree with the legend because the past season was horrible for them because the team conceded at a high rate which made the club lose many points hence missing out on the UEFA Champions League spots so they will be hoping that new manager Unai Emery finds a way to improve the defense of the gunners.
Unai Emery’s transfer targets are all mainly defenders such as Sokratis Papastathopoulos who is said to be close to a move to the Emirates Stadium after its believed that the talks have been finalized between the two parties.
